A Budget bump staple... The Bodycon Dress

Due to a few requests on links for where I got a few of my recent dresses I thought I would add a little update with links or alternatives if the dresses were a previous season.

This dress is not a maternity dress but due to shape and stretch is a great wardrobe staple and will carry you through to the end. I got it for the end of my pregnancy with Bella and it was so comfy for leaving the hospital with her also. I have added an alternative that I have found at a bargain price of £12.99. Comes in both black and grey and both would be great styled with a denim shirt for the chillier evenings. Link here H&M.

This is the same dress in stripes and I have ordered the grey also. I wouldn't go too many sizes bigger as I found that the top half can look too big. I am usually an XS/S and this one is a medium but I still have plenty of room and stretch in it. The stripes are no longer on the website but still in store also for £12.99

Striped dresses are a fab wardrobe staple for spring but especially in pregnancy. Stripes and converse look great but you can also dress them up.

I already have a few stripped pieces and here is another that I bought recently from ASOS, it is a Newlook Maternity dress and on both websites, I have included both links due to a reduced selection of sizes. Asos link Here. Newlook link Here. I feel this dress runs small to size as I would normally be a size 8 and feel 10 is slightly small. I know they say in the last trimester go 2 sizes up in Maternity and I think this is the case with this dress. What's great about this dress is the long sleeves and higher neck, I have styled it here with Converse trainers for a casual look but this dress would be great with tights and heels/ pumps for workwear.

Finally, here is a ribbed green maternity dress again from Newlook for £14.99. I am 5ft 8inches and feel this dress can only be worn casual due to being a little shorter on me. Again I went for 1 size bigger than my regular size and feel now 2 sizes bigger would have been perfect but it is another very comfortable and versatile dress with great shape. Link for this dress can be found here.

It's great to get dresses for under £15 as they can be dressed up or down and are entire outfits. You don't really want to be spending a fortune on outfits at this stage and at this time of year it's great to get out of the jeans and into something a lot comfier.

Hope this helps, any further information or styles you would like please feel free to get in touch.
